Conditions of Combined Area Grading:
- Mat Fee £10 per person.
- BJC Contest Rules 2019 will apply in all cases.
- All those attending will Contest first and those successful will be asked to demonstrate Kata & Waza (in that order).
- Junior grades to be awarded at end of Junior session and Seniors at end of Senior session
- White BJC compliant Judogi required with Zori, non-confirming Judogi will not be accepted
- Current BJC licence is essential
- Minimum time between grades is generally three months or twelve training sessions below 1st Kyu. From 1st Kyu and above time in grade is as per BJC Technical Notices.
- Please note that if period in grade is less than three months (below 1st Kyu), evidence of training sessions attended will be required.
- NOTE: Pre-Registration is mandatory! We are doing this for YOUR benefit to save you time and money, to ensure that we have properly matched categories and if there is none to contest within your category, to allow us to advise you in advance.
